All websites have a URL and exist
on a host server. The URL is the address users type
in to view the site (a sort of virtual P.O. Box), whereas
the host server is the computer that the site is actually
saved on and operated from (more like a physical address).
Once the site is ready, you give us the "go" and
we upload it to our in-house servers under URL address you've
specified. Because we are a branch of PAdotNET, an
internet service provider, we have total control over the
servers your site is housed on. That control means that you'll
have easy access to your site for future alterations and that
we have the ability to upgrade the server or the scripts on
it to meet your needs.
Our servers themselves are part of the
same reliable network that PAdotNet uses to provide access
for its dial-up users. That network is constantly maintained
to ensure that users can dial out to the internet, and as
long as they can dial out, potential visitors to your website
will be able to dial in. Your website should rarely, if ever,
suffer "downtime."
